As to size.......whew ya got me there.....as compared to what? Small I would say.

Leg color is a shade of grey.......

2 Buff Orpingtons, laying well after winter rest, 15 months old by swap, $10 each or willing to trade one for a reliably broody hen.

Want:
Really, really, want a reliably broody hen (frequently, annoyingly, broody) of any breed, prefer Silkie or Chochin. Prefer younger hen or slightly older if still plenty of good years left, prefer non-banty type (don't want my other hens to pick on her because she is small) . Will be placing black sex-link eggs under her each spring to refresh my flock. My brooder will become a pet and kept in luxury for the balance of her life.

Will trade 1 Buff Orpington or willing to pay reasonable $.
