Hello all. I have 3 birds in ned of new homes. Thought I would share here with the local Oregon members. I have a very nice looking young BCM cockerel who is around 4 months old. He has nicely feathered feet. He is very sweet and used to being handled. Here are some pics of him:
I also have a pair of Olive Eggers that are also around 4 months old. I picked up 2 olive eggers at the local swap hoping they were pullets, but one turned out to be a roo. They are so bonded with one another that I decided to try and rehome them together. The pullet should begin laying soon, and the young roo is very calm and easy to handle. I would keep him, but I have too many roos at the moment! Here are some pics of them:
I am located on the Central Oregon Coast....about 2 hours from Portland. If anyone can give any of these birds a good home please let me know. I will gladly deliver within a 2 hour drive, or have them ready for pick up. They are great birds, but I have limited space for roos. I think the BCM cockerel in particular is going to grow up to be a very good looking roo, and so far he has a great disposition. Thanks.
