Oregon

Hello all. I have 3 birds in ned of new homes. Thought I would share here with the local Oregon members. I have a very nice looking young BCM cockerel who is around 4 months old. He has nicely feathered feet. He is very sweet and used to being handled. Here are some pics of him:

I also have a pair of Olive Eggers that are also around 4 months old. I picked up 2 olive eggers at the local swap hoping they were pullets, but one turned out to be a roo. They are so bonded with one another that I decided to try and rehome them together. The pullet should begin laying soon, and the young roo is very calm and easy to handle. I would keep him, but I have too many roos at the moment! Here are some pics of them:

I am located on the Central Oregon Coast....about 2 hours from Portland. If anyone can give any of these birds a good home please let me know. I will gladly deliver within a 2 hour drive, or have them ready for pick up. They are great birds, but I have limited space for roos. I think the BCM cockerel in particular is going to grow up to be a very good looking roo, and so far he has a great disposition. Thanks.

Knock knock !!! Hey just wanted to drop in real quick and say that for any who are interested I will be at Starr Alpacas in Boring this weekend for the Or lavender fest. I will have several bells and a good amount of other metal art. Probably considerably more than I had at Stevenson for those who saw me there. If by chance ya come out stop buy and say hi and let me know you are a BYCer. For more info you can go to www.starralpacas.com or http://www.oregonlavenderdestinations.com/festival.php Hope to see some of ya there.

Hi all,

I have a roo in need of a home. He is a bantam WC Black Polish roo that my broody hatched this Spring. I bought the eggs from a breeder in WA who shows her birds. He is 6 weeks old and it would be nice for him to find a permanent home while he’s still young. I’m in Portland and cannot keep him. Mama pecked him a bit so he has a few purple feathers in his mohawk for now.

I’m asking $5.00 for him. Please PM me if you’re interested. Thanks!

Yeah it was just wild sold a whopping 2 things and they were both to the SIL of the farm owner. But hey I will be here all day Sunday too.
Come on folks show me that there really are some BYCers in Oregon. I think all of the posts on here are from CLF since she is the only one I know for sure is real.
