Oregon

Hi, I see I have neighbors here, Sweet Home and Lebanon! I am from Lebanon, too. I have some Orloffs, Cubalayas, Phoenix, Sumatras, and blue Hamburgs that I am working on breeding. I have a mob that free ranges during the day and is cooped at night (predators) My mob includes Americaunas, Leghorns, a Yoko, Buff Orpington, a few banties and frizzles, and some crosses (Orloff/cubalaya, Yoko-Leghorn, Orloff Sumatras. I also now have AJ's young bantam cockerel, he should like it here. I am looking for better Sumatras for my breeding project.
Sometimes it will be me posting, and sometimes it might be my mom. She likes birds too. --Mike:lol:

Mike!
Hey nice to hear from you!
Well I am on day 19 now and have a dozen left that are growing from 48 eggs. Pretty bad, but probably my fault.
Tons of clear and blood rings and a couple that just died along the way and some that just had the yoke in them and nothing else. I guess the PO too is hard up on shipped eggs.
Anyway wish me hatching vibes! They are due on Sat!
Take care!
Theresa

Just out of curiosity I went online to see driving directions (we drive to Eugene all the time) and it says about 40 miles taking the back roads and Hwy 99, or 54 miles taking I-5. If you live anywhere near the Junction City side of Eugene, then it's much faster to take 99 - plus all the farms are much more interesting to look at!
