Ya hope so! Blessings to you guysShe's 2.5. We're hoping she grows out of it or at least her skin gets more used to it.![]()
Does she get to name the chickens?
Wilco has gets fresh chicks pretty much every few weeks. Here is a list of their locations. Perhaps one is close enough for you to go and pick some up. I'd call first and find out what they have on hand and what might be coming in soon. At my store it is good to reserve them, and they can do special orders.Need help.....got a hen sitting on eggs for over 21 days. Haven't tried to candle any, but think they are duds. Got them on EBay . What I need is a few chicks to stick under her so she will be a happy hen. Everyone has quit selling baby chicks in central Oregon, anyone know of any place in central Oregon still having baby chicks? I've called hatcheries and they say 5 weeks till they can ship. Need them now, or just tell her to get off the nest and back to laying.;P

She named hers daisy. It's the Easter egger. So her chicken will have "hopefully" a different colored egg. She's pretty excited. So is our 1.5 year old. He can say chicken. So far he has no signs of the sun allergy. Here's hoping. It's gonna be tough for her. But she has a great attitude!!![]()
That is a perfect name for a chicken! Kids are tough, especially girls! hehe. I may need her help with naming my Jubilee cockerel, she is really good at picking names.

Quote: My chickens don't make much of a racket anymore. (We had to eat the rooster!) I think if you keep it to hens and share like you said, any normal human being should be able to handle it. Of course there is a kid involved and that always helps. Good luck!
