Oregon

This is Tux, my Blue Runner x KC/Rouen drake. He's about 5 lbs, 13 weeks old and available if anyone in the Portland/St. Helen's area wants a drake. Hate to give him up but I have too many drakes now. It looks like some more Blue Runners will turn out to be drakes within the next month if anyone is interested. PM me or go to www.lsshaftsfarm.com for contact information.

Hey any silikie breeders?

I have some Silkies two ready to go now more in near future. The two ready now are pending should know by today. Would need protection fron the cat and other predators like hawks they don't fly and have limited vision from the large crest.

Hello fellow Oregonians,

I've got this beautiful BA X RIR rooster I'd like to give away. I live close to Lebanon (not in town so the crowing is not the issue). He's a great little guy, but he's surplus and he's 1/2 bantam and that is why I want to rehome him. We prefer dual-purpose birds that are dinner worthy and it's just not worth the effort for banties. He is bigger than the bantam roosters I see at the county fair but when you pick him up he hardly weighs anything, and his babies so far have turned out petite as well.

I nicknamed him Houdini because he is good at escaping the chicken run. He is way too pretty to send to freezer camp and he's a really good rooster in the flock. He's not too rough during mating and he is always calling the ladies over for food he found. It's adorable to watch. He has never shown a hint of aggression to people. If anything he is flighty rather than aggressive. IIRC he's two years old. Also available are six or seven bantam hens (his sisters and his daughters). I have some barred, some red, and some black ones.
