We have a big double show in Vancouver, WA Oct. 18th. Entered 6 birds for my first show ever as an exhibitor. Idaho is a little too far to go just yet, we'll have to see if I have been breeding champions first hee, hee!

Heyyy, the Grove. Go Boxers?

To actually answer your question, though -- the closest one I know of is in LO - south of Portland, about 40 minutes from FG. Though I don't have chickens yet.
I realize this is an older post but I just found it. I'm in Corntown. We see Steve...Banks Veterinary Service.
The real deal is in Lake Oswego. There is an Avian Vet there. I've gotten advice from them over the phone, and good advice at that!
Steve, out in Banks is one of the few ''country vet's'' around. He reminds me of an animal whisperer! He is verrrry in tune with the animals....

Dr Lynn Luna is a chicken vet at Banfield pet hospital in Eugene and the number there is: 541-242-5824
if you are too far away, she may offer chicken advice, she is very helpful.

Anyone going to the swap in Corvallis next weekend? I made the mistake of looking at the vendors list on fb, but I have too many boys right now. I will try for females in spring. I do love looking at all the fun critters though, so I will probably go anyway and not have any carriers in the car! ;)

The swap is in two weekends, Oct. 11th :) I am a regular vendor of honey, vanilla, soap, lip balm and pre-arranged sales of chickens. Will be giving a talk about keeping bees in your backyard at 12:30 PM. Can't remember my booth # but I sell the Brawley Farms honey, stop by! The swaps are incredibly fun!!!
