Hey Lorilyn! What kinds of Turkey's do you raise? I am doing Turkey's for the first time this spring. I am thinking of going with the Bourbon Reds.
Reedgirl, I love the lavender Orpingtons. Do you sell them?

I am hoping to hatch some lavender hen cross with splash rooster but I have some eggs that have been in the incubator for a week and no development. I'm hoping my rooster gets his act together soon, he is about a year old. I noticed some of the hens with muddy marks on their backs but haven't actually seen him 'do the deed' so to speak. They are not under lights so hopefully as we get closer to spring he will get busy.

Edit: as I was candling the eggs one last time before tossing them I have two out of about twenty that are developing!! Guess he is starting to get his act together. They free range about seven hours a day so maybe they are sneaking off in the bushes for some private time, lol.

Some self control? LMBO! I will be there, but not as a vendor. I will be helping at the Central Oregon Swap sign-up table for a bit.
