I'm in Redmond! I have 22, five week old chicks.--julia

Hello, I love the 20+ chick broods, so many little puff balls running around. Then they get bigger and stinkier, but just part of the process.

I'm waiting for the 23 bantams in the incubator, they go into lockdown Tuesday.

If the question was for me-no.
DH wanted chicken 6 years ago for eggs. We now have about 70 birds, chickens, a few quail and a pair of pigeons. I'm thinking more of bantams lately for the 4-H kids here, at least we know what the breeds are unlike the mixed bantam bin at the feed stores.

Someone on this thread was possibly wanting some Blue Ameraucana eggs from me and I do not remember who. I am just about done hatching for myself so would be willing to sell some eggs soon. I will turn the hen back out to free-range if I have no takers The colour blue is not a dominant gene so the resulting chicks could be blue (50% chance), black (25% chance) or splash (25% chance). I have no idea how close these birds are to SOP, I just bought the chicks as I wanted blue eggs and what is more cool than blue chickens that lay blue eggs! These are my "fun" birds, not one of the breeds I am working on.

She is giving me about 5 eggs per week so it can't be a large order for optimum hatching eggs.

Thank you This pair always makes me smile even though they are not one of my "serious" breeds.

Yes, this is my coop my husband build a year ago! I just love it! We are off Hwy 31, about 13 miles from La Pine. We have been here approx 2 years and love living here! It's fun meeting people in the area here on this site! Small world......

Actually we are right behind Sun Forest Estates in Forest Meadows! Lol! Oh that would be fun to meet up for coffee at the Red Rooster sometime! How many chickens do you have? We have nine (so far) lol!
