I've been waiting for the Oregonian's to wake up. I know there are good egg's to be had but this thread is nowhere near as active as it once was. It makes it tough.
I'm seriously on the verge of just ordering chicks from Greenfire. I've been checking this thread daily Incase somebody shows up.

I've had a hard time in my search too and would be willing to go in on an order from Greenfire in the future.

Might have to. Although, I say might. I found some Marans eggs that most poultry fans would cut a finger off for. I'm not sure where I stand in that line, but I told the lady straight up, i will do ANYTHING for that color of egg.

But in the meantime, I started a Silver laced wyandotte project flock. They're not from hatchery.

Anyone around these part's have quality wyandottes? After several failed attempts at getting quality Marans, I'm beginning to think I'm going to stick with the Wyandottes. I've already got the black silver laced and gonna work for blue laced silvers. So if anyone has quality Blue laced red let me know. And I may be taking over a lavender laced project also.
