We have a variety of Hatching eggs for sale, BO, SS, NN, WS, DLW, WL, DC, EE, BLRW, BR, Australorp, Ameracauna, Pene, quality from nicer hatchery to SQ. Right now we're back-ordered til about the 15th of Jan. And we live near Molalla, which is about 20 min east of woodburn, so quite a ways to drive.

We also have baby Bourban Red turkeys for sale, as well as chicks-all straight run at this time.

My 12 year old bulldog has a huge lump on her neck. We've been watching it for a while but the consensus was that it was not lymphoma. In the last week it has enlarged enough that I can see it on the side of her neck even with all that extra bulldog skin. I took her to the vet and had some blood work done. Our vet is very conservative and doesn't recommend chemo for old dogs like her but we thought we'd at least try to figure out what it was. Anyway, the bloodwork came back this morning and everything is within normal range! What the heck?! So far she seems to be feeling fine and it's not affecting her breathing or swallowing. The vet put her on prednisolone to try to get that thing to shrink. I love this dumb dog but she is the one I caught redhanded killing my teenage chickens 2 years ago! A 10 year bulldog catching a chicken! I thought we had a coyote coming through when it was that dumb old bulldog all along. She hasn't been left alone with the chickens since then.

It definitley started out as a lobulated, enlarged lymph node. We tried antibiotics to knock out any infection that might be causing it. However, I didn't notice any improvement. There's even fungus that can get in the lymph nodes but it's rare. We're going to see if the steroid works. Next step might be a biopsy.

I decided I'm going to post on as many threads as I can to help build up the Egg Train this year.

The West coast is lacking in help right now and most birds and eggs that we need to move are here.

If anyone travels or will be traveling, or just wants to help with organizing or making some short deliveries, please, please, sign up on the members thread and add your traveling destinations to the monthly destination threads.

The Train have worked. I got behind after my husband died and lost some momentum, but he was behind me on this and I really want to make it as big as I can. We can still use lots more.

My main reason for starting this was because I get the worse looking hatching eggs in the mail. I wanted to do something that would help all of us get out shipments in better shape. This year you'll all see me really trying to grow this, so you might as well give up and join in. Help your fellow BYCers out.

I have a lot of states with no help and I'd like to find at least some people who can work together for even some short trips.

California is a long state and I have big gaps here. You'd think with all the people that we'd be the biggest part of the train.

Hopefully we'll get Washington and Oregon built up.

I'm going to try and get enough coordinators in each state, so we can work on each one really hard for a while and then do a couple of others. Maybe that's the way I'll have to work it for now, but boy would I like to see rapid growth again.
