Nothing that I know of in Salem/Portland, but there is Harringtons in Boring. We went there two weeks ago and they are wonderful. They have a website, just look up Harringtons poultry.

I have used Harrington's, too. They are great and the birds look beautiful when they are done.

Good luck

I wish I could take that pretty BO roo, but I just processed mine at Harrington's last month. Would sort of defeat the purpose

ORchick, Great to meet ya. Are you anywhere near Colonial Road? My horse is stabled on Colonial Road.

SkyeBleu, Great to meet ya too.

Its so great to hear there are actually fellow chickenaholics living so close by. I also belong to the darkegglayers club (yahoo group) and there is someone on there who lives in the Canyonville area. Ya, I'm not a lonesome hen anymore.

No, not too near Colonial Rd. We're actually only about 5 miles out from the center of Roseburg. Pretty area, the Umpqua Valley, isn't it?

There are a couple of places. Harrington's in Boring or Mineral Springs in Willamina. Mineral Springs is cheaper than Harrington and did a great job on the Cornish Cross I took in.

Here is where you can find info on all the Licensed Poultry Slaughter in Oregon..
