Tonight Salem's city council approve a new chicken ordinances. This means we are allowed to have five hens and can have our coops closer to our homes (and the homes of our neighbors). We will still have top pay FORTY BUCKS for a permit, but now it's a one time fee instead of a yearly fee.

She's Gone Broody eh. Bad thing is, these eggs were abandoned roughly 24hrs or more ago by another hen. Do you guys think they are still good? I figured, what the hey, I'll let her try and we will find out.
