Just thought I would say hi. Im from sourthern Oregon and just started into chickens this year. I have 4 barred rocks and 4 golden sex links. Started getting eggs about six weeks ago, was very exciting. Also am branching out and trying some quail.

Ok, if anyone is interested I have a blue silkie roo (took forever to decide he wasn't a hen) from 2hot2chickens stock and 2 gray call drakes (sterile but out of show stock) if anyone wants them for FREE. All nice boys but of course, who needs extra boys. PM me if you'd like them. Hoping the local 4-h group may have a "need" as well, lol.

My turkey is doing great at first he was doing really bad then he got worse, but he is doing amazing now!!!! He can walk but sometimes he trips. Im going to wait tell his leg is better and his back (When he was a baby he got picked on acually he was more of a pullet for turks I forgot what its called Im not good with turkeys just chickens. Well when his feathrs grew in the chickens started pecking him so when he hurt his leg at first his spots where he got pecked were healing but the chickens started pecking him more!!! But I think when he gets bigger they will stop because they will probally be scared of his size LoL)
