Are you coming to the Salem show next weekend? Jean (pips&peeps) will be there. Don't know how many chicks or hatching eggs she'll have, but she'll be at the Ameraucana table in the sale area, and she's going to be your best bet for whites. birdnbeast on here has Ameraucanas too, in black / blue / splash...other colors Karen?

Yeah, I was just writing a long PM and hit the wrong button!!! Drats. Lost the whole thing somewhere. With my dyslexia, it takes me soooo long to write that I get very frustrated -- and then to lose it (the note, not my mind tho I do wonder about that).

what I was saying was:

Are you looking for eggs, chicks or small breeding flocks. I have small flocks ea of B/B/S, white, and W/BW all from various higher-end sources. No feed store stock -- not that there is anything wrong with those for that purpose. We are toying with the idea of letting go of all of the AM's just becuase growing out the Jerseys is like each being a pony and the two new lines of Barnevelders juvies need another 6mos-yr to really evaluate their usefulness. Maintaining the darling Faverolles and Hubby's Orpingtons just takes sooo much time and space. Ameraucanas really appreciate more activity and room than I think I have to offer. They are all lovely and I don't keep what I don't want to feed so not too many 'extra junk' birds.

Anyway, just ramblin' and cogitatin' -- what to do, what to do....
