Oregon

I've been trying to find an Australian Shepherd to add to my family and not having much luck with it. So I am going next week to look at a litter of Doberman Pinschers.

Same thing, right? Except the doberman is twice the size, has a short coat instead of medium, and is a terrier and not a herding dog. Other than that, same same.

Oh the joys of teaching a new pup that playing with the poultry is forbidden. Hopefully before the geese stomp him flat.
I don't think you can convince Dobies are the same as my Aussies. Speaking of I know where there are some great Aussies in rescues looking for homes!!

My new baby, sorrry you missed this litter, it was a pretty nice bunch of puppies!

We have a breeder down here also. She is one of our 4-H volunteers on the dog group. Her pups trained by our local kids have won High in Trial at state fair the last 2 years. Don't think she has any pups right now but I can get you her number if you want it.

There is a Poultry Swap on the 27th in Corvallis and there is a page for it on BYC and one on Facebook. One of the gals has been posting all sorts of Muscovy ducks on the fb page that she is selling. You should check it out.

Thanks . . . I don't know if I'll be able to go or not. I have a rabbit show to go to in Albany this weekend.

Oh good grief...yes, turkey mama was awesome, right up until she started skwooshing her babies! LOL  Poor things!  She only got 2 of them before they were taken away to the artificial brooder!  But she loved those little things!!  I still can't believe she sat on those bantam eggs for 21 days without breaking them all!  :gig

Several of the cutest things ever going on at once there!
