Organic chicken feed and vitamins...

Since we're still fairly new to the "chicken society", we're trying to get the hang of the perfect way to feed our girls (and one proud roo). We've seen several posts from people feeding organic feed, and our question is: where do you get it? We've checked all the local feed stores in and around Dallas, GA, and usually get a bewildered stare, or a "you poor fools"-smile when we ask for organic. Also, when people refer to vitamins for their chickens in certain life situations, which ones are they talking about, and where do you get them? Thanks!

We had a tough time finding organic feed also. So we called around and found a place 2 towns away that carried it. We also found a couple places that would order organic feed. I think you can also order it from some of the poultry supply places but with shipping it would be expensive.
