Organic feed not available in crumbles? or pellets?

My feed store clerk told me this morning that organic poultry feed is not available in crumbles or pellets, he says, cause it wouldn't be organic due to the ingredients. Is this true? How are crumbles or pellets made? I tried to ask him a few additional questions, but he mumbled. I've emailed the manufacturer for an ingredient list. Any information would be appreciated!

I get organic layer pellets for $22 per 50 lb.

I also get organic layer pellets and crumbles from my local mill. The brand is NatureSmart. They do sell it.

Blue Seal sells a certified organic layer pellet. That's what I feed. I pay about $23 for a 50 lb bag.
