organic feed

I have some questions on feed. When i first got my chicks i had them on medicated feed within a couple weeks I switched to organic feed. however tractor supply only sells a small bag og organic feed and it does not last long with 17 chicks. The chicks are exactly 1 month old. I havent been able to locate a big bag of organic feed locally , I did however find some on amazon . I have a couple questions like do they still need starter or do i graduate them to grower feed...also when should I start layer feed or do i just skip grower and go to layer.. I found these on amazon any input is appreciated.

I also have another question about Diatomaceous Earth , how, when, why or do they need this. I see it in tractor supply not sure if it is something they need
