No you can't use the word "organic" without being certified. It carries an $11,000 fine and the USDA has just gotten a $9million grant for enforcement.

Thats just for marketing anything you sell. If you sell less than $500 a year you are exempt from these rules also.

Great thread!! I thank you, my chickens thank you and my customers thank you! I do believe it helped stop the spread of cocci in my flock. Getting ready to make another batch of garlic, cayenne and ACV for the Gents, Ladies and Kids. Can't tell you how grateful I am for this.

Organic fertilizer aka chicken poop. Is amazing in my garden one of the reasons I got chickens. Chickens organic bug control yet another reason. I got chickens. I have no need for pesticides or fertilizers. It’s a lovely cycle of chemical free gardening. It’s the way it’s supposed to be...and then those eggs!!!
