Agree with this!! You can also use a cheap leash and cut off the loop so that it can’t get caught. I also recommend getting a harness like the one that Finn has, with a handle.

Do you know the type / name / brand of the harness Finn has?

solution for play: when she either jumps or her mouth touches a human, all play immediately stops. Turn around, cross your arms, and ignore her until she is calmer. This technique will give you an extinction burst, where the behavior gets more intense as the dog tries harder before giving up. It will seem like it’s getting worse, but that means that it’s working.

Ohhh, the extinction burst concept makes sense. I will keep that in mind and be more patient next time she becomes bitey. Thank you!

Does it have a tag, or the brand name printed somewhere? Manufacturers are usually pretty determined about putting brands on their products.

Ah yes -- that looks very nice. I'll see if I can find one like that when she grows out of her current harness (which won't be long now...)

I will look at the tag when we take it off later. The tag from when we bought it is long gone, but I believe that there’s a small one on it. I may have pulled it off, though.
