Ornamental Geese?

I've been interested in getting some ornamental geese. This will be a first for me. I've raised pintails and teals in the past but never any wild type geese. I raise domestic geese but I'm sure they're fairly different from each other, yes? (I wouldn't keep them together of course.) What breed would be best to start with, wouldn't require permits here in the states and aren't incredibly noisy? Figured I'd start doing my research. And I bet most cost $$$. Would apprieciate any suggestions or advice. Thanks in advance!

I would suggest looking into your states requirements for a permit. At least for possession (not sales) of native species of geese. Otherwise you will be severely limited in what you can find/own. If you really do not want to be permitted then I would suggest looking into Bar Heads.
