The description says they’ll all be females from the TopHat and Rarest of the Rare list, so there shouldn’t be EEs. Any ideas about these?

Photos 1-3 are same bird; 4-7 are another bird.

Ok, TopHat and Rarest-of-Rare breeds are listed as:
  • White Crested Black Polish, Buff Laced Polish, Golden Polish, Silver Polish, White Polish, Mottled Houdans, and Sultans
  • Sumatras (Black), Dominiques (Barred), Golden Laced Wyandottes, Silver, Golden, Buff Laced, and White Polish, Golden Campines (Barred), Golden Penciled Hamburgs, Silver Penciled Rocks, Partridge, Black, Buff, Blue, & Silver Laced and White Cochins, Araucanas, Dark and Buff Brahmas, Phoenix, Fayoumis (Barred), Salmon Faverolles, W. L. Red Cornish, Lakenvelders (slate colored legs), Black and White Langshans, Red Caps, Silver Leghorns, Crevecoeurs (Crested, Black), Silver Gray Dorkings, Modern BB Red Games, Sultans (Crested, White), Buttercups, & Spanish
Looks like TopHats and other crested breeds are out. The chicks are clean footed, so we can eliminate feather footed breeds. Others are nixed due to feather color/shank color. I am still learning to ID combs - what kind would you say they have?

Boy! These little guys are tricky...
Chick 1 - White Laced Red Cornish?
Chick 2- Golden Penciled Hamburg? Red Caps? Silver Phoenix?

Photos 1-3 look like a Whiting True Green, new at McMurray. And, 4-7 look like a Welsummer.

There are two of them (Marguerite and Martha) and they’re the sweetest girls, always first in line for cuddles. The Welsummer is Wynona and has been the biggest chick since day one.

Here’s a couple more that have me stumped. The first three photos are of the same bird, the last four are all one bird as well. The first one has a blue tint to the feathers, and the second one with the spots on the breast and underside have me stumped.

New at McMurray, Whiting True Blues, Whiting True greens, and Cream Legbars. These are not included in their lists but that is because they do not update the lists often... That red could definitely be a Whiting, other one could also be a welsummer as already pointed out by IowaChickChick. There are lots of hens on the list that have somewhat similar patterns to the second bird. And sense these birds are hatchery quality you can't really be to sure yet.

I don't think McMurray sent her the wrong chicks, they are excellent with keeping orders straight. McMurray is, arguable, the most successful poultry hatchery they did not get here by sending people the wrong breeds of birds. I'm sure there is many other birds that are not included on the list, as I said earlier, McMurray really never updates their lists...

One great thing is that I’m learning different comb types, leg color, etc which is fun.
