Located outside Dalton Georgia. Willing to meet within reasonable distance. So I have a rooster problem. I have five roosters that I’m currently trying to sell. I have a silkie mix/RIR cross. He’s a silver Columbian zinc with red leakage around a year and three months old. He used to be very dominant but after some time in isolation, he’s chilled out. I wouldn’t recommend him if you already have a very dominant or aggressive rooster. He’s never been aggressive to people and *tolerates* being held. He’d be a good guardian rooster because he’s a big guy.
Next is Peck, around a year and a month old. He’s a NN and I just...don’t really like his coloring. He has a swollen joint on his toe from breaking it when he was younger. He walks fine and is in no pain. It’s just swollen. He doesn’t pick fights and is well tempered. However if aggressed, he will fight back. This doesn’t apply to people. He is well mannered around people and is another good guardian rooster.
Next is Buffy. His exact age is unknown because he was given to me and the lady wasn’t sure how old he was. He’s roughly five or six months old. Old enough to mount. He’s a buff bearded silkie with five toes on each foot. He’s confident but is well mannered as well. I really like him but...I have four silkie roosters right now.
Next is Rusty and Dusty. Purchased as chicks on March 15th. Both red NN roosters. They were bought as pullets and well....lol. Rusty has a more traditional tail while Dusty has a more fan tail. Both are people friendly and they aren’t aggressive to the other roosters.
All of these roosters except the mix and Buffy were hand raised by me. I handled them as chicks and juvies until they were introduced to the free range flock. I’m not asking much for these birds and I would give them away but that would be a big loss of income for me.
