I missed this post. I am jealous of your kingfisher sighting. Very nice photos!Just got back from a trip to Mexico and I got to do a lot of birding.

Oh, they're always watching the chooks. I see them at least once a day, but so far even though they watch, they haven't attempted to grab any of the girls. They're taking care of chicks right now, probably too busy to try for a chicken. I see them with snakes and squirrels in their talons while they fly over.Hopefully not seen near your chickens![]()
