This is Sasha, trying to decide if she wants to be a big city Chicken. She was quite put out with me because I kept bringing her back from the hedgerow between us and our neighbors.

Why are all my critters so curious? I was having my coffee while talking on the phone, watching them have some free range time, I guess not many people hear "Get your beak out of my coffee!"

I have Orp's but don't have any decent pictures...they just wont stand still! Anyway, will try to get one tomorrow when I am off. One of my RIR hens jumped up in the cab of my truck the other day when I left the door open. I think she was looking for a place to lay because I moved my nest boxes up against the wall of the coop (she likes to lay behind them). She tried to get into my horse trailer too, so I ended up moving them back away from the wall. Anything to get those eggs!
