Where do I get the powdered probios? I have goat probios, comes in a gel form in a big syringe type thing. Would some of that work? I'd have no idea how much to give them?
You might want to call your area feed stores for the powdered probios. I get mine from Jeffers. It's just easier to use the powdered and less waste. If you have the gel, that should work. They only need a small amount. Put a little on your finger and give it to them. Or try mixing it in with the milk. Just a little bit. After their eyes open they will eat their own poo's and you can stop the pro bios.
Putting them back in the nest is always the best way to go. Sometimes that is impossible I understand that too. Once a dog finds a nest it's really hard to keep them out of it. Another option is to find someone with a rabbit with babies about the same age. I have a wild one in with a litter of bunnies now and he is doing well after a week. He has even calmed down when I go into the cage to feed and clean.
Good Luck. Keep us updated please.
