As much as I hate to say it but with the timing with Easter and all my bet would be that he was dumped. It's likely that someone got him for their kid and then got him home and realized then how noisy he was. It's too bad they didn't just take him back to the store or the animal shelter. I guess one would assume that a wild momma would take him in. Glad you are giving him a good home and he is a handsome little devil!!
