Unfortunately tylenol is a very serious no no.
Re: the aspirin, it's often employed by vets at the right dosage. Overdosage is highly toxic - even deadly - which is why many vets don't even offer it as an option unless they're sure the client will be sure to get the dosage absolutely right. When it's done right, it can offer welcome relief. If a cat is in terrific pain, it won't help much - relief may only come in the form of much more powerful drugs - probably steroidal drugs as prescribed by a vet.
If this momma cat could be nursing, above I suggested Rescue Remedy tho while I'm here let me add now that while I was typing this, one of my vet hospitals just called me to say not to worry about aspirin and kittens, that the 1/2 baby aspirin given to mom every 3 days will not cause a problem for the kittens if she's nursing.
If the momma is known to have liver problems, I would opt for the Rescue Remedy because conventional meds of many kinds are work for the liver.

Edited to add info about aspirin and kittens nursing....
