Orphen Turkey looking for home (with my Chickens!)

I have a wild Turkey that really wants to be with my chickens.

she does not seem to be sick and if she was my chickens would all ready have it so can I let her be (In the fence) with my Chicky's?

The problem with mixing turkey's with chickens is more on the turkey end. Chickens can carry the organisms that cause Blackhead without any problems, yet it will kill a turkey. That is why they always say to keep them seperated. Your chickens may or may not be carrying it, I guess you would have to have the soil tested to be sure. I have seen lots of people mix them together without a problem (apparently the Blackhead disease causing pathogen was not in the soil). We used to keep them in seperate coops, but they would all free-range in the same area - no problems.
