Orpington people - What color is this chick

Josie360, we can't see your image, you'll have to upload the pic from your computer via the BYC uploader or Photobucket.

She's just a black (or dun) with lots of silver leakage. No real name for the color.

I'd say just use her as an egg-layer. That's about her use, that and a mutt maker.

Her body honestly doesn't even conform to either UK or US Orpington Standards.

She is definitally pretty.... I knew crossing my Blue and my Buff would give me a unrecognized mix color But they were just to add to my laying flock because my husband is getting upset im stealing all the eggs and putting into incubator haha! I love my Roo and his additude so I figured he would mak a nice Cross for any of my girls to add there babies to my laying flock cuz we love eggs.. can go through a dozen in one morning... so working on my breeding stock seperate from my layers..... here are some pictures of my future layers. sooo cute imo

Thanks LilQtBear for the thread. My buff orpington hatched 10 barn yard mixes yesterday and I'm at a loss as to who the parents are.

I see a few familiar faces among your pics to match to mine. THe dark backs and gold faces. ANd all golds.

Loved seeing your pics. Thanks for sharing.
