hey Walt, we took him to twin tiers poultry show , at just about 7 months he was really at his peak..couldnt look better..its a real nice show , has three judges every year. and people from all over show up, a lot are following breed specials and points they were from ,ohio, maryland , virginia, ny, p, nj ect..a its a pretty good time..super nice people who really want to see you do your best..we took off from the show for a while and had some lunch ect..toured some winerys , when we got back he had won BB, BV, Reserve champion english, and best orpington award..i didnt know weather to laugh or cry. i seriously had my mind made up that the dark cornish had the reserve english sewn up boy he was a picture of perfection to me..im pretty hard on myself thou..and see only flaws .seems we were better..no way to beat bob whitneys australorp hen shes as near perfect as a chicken can be..we worked really hard to get there... was a whole summers labor of love for sure.. sadley the coboskill show was cancelled the whole area was flooded , fairgrounds had been underwater..you have never seen such a mess in your whole life..there is a table set up at the show every year for poultry press..i had no idea you could run one of those little thank you ads there or i would have done that..all the years i have gone there and i never knew what they were there for, thought they were just taking subscription orders..duh lynne.

I can see enough to know that he is a very good boy. From the looks of him he will do even better when he gets a bit older. He looks great right now! Good job!!
Before a show my birds always look great. As I pack them up they start to look less great and when I get to the show Friday night they look horrible to me, but we always do OK. I just start picking them apart.
You folks got a lot of water back there.
