Aww I hope my girls grow up round!

That depends on the type of Orpingtons you have. Hatchery Orpingtons can be on the round side, but usually have an uneven rump.

I'm taking hatchery birds, & breeding towards SOP. Progress is slow, & tedious.

The brown chicks that keep popping up in my Orpingtons are a bit of a mystery.

They fit a type of partridge down, but feather out a Duckwing type pattern. It's odd.

They don't fit Db(Dark Brown), because Db turns Birchen chick down Brown. Non of my project birds carry Birchen, so I gotta figure out what's going on.

I have the same issue with our Bantam coop.
