Other hens pecking one hen (daughter crying)

Thanks everyone.
I went to the local supply store and asked some questions there too.
Here is what we are doing:
It's winter here so we are separating the one hen and the other 4 hens (one stays in the coop while the others stay outside) then we switch it up every couple of hours. This is working right now since the kids are home for Christmas break. They "sleep" together and they don't seem to be pecking at night.
I sprayed some stuff on the hen being pecked at; it's blue-ish/purple spray (called Blu-Kote); it's supposed to taste bad so the others won't peck and it acts as an antiseptic/protective wound dressing. I don't actually see any blood on her, just a few feathers pulled out.

We got our first egg yesterday and we got two eggs today.

We are optimistic and thank you all very much for responding to our plea for help!!

I have also had trouble with 6 month olds. It is like the terrible 2's that toddlers go through. Sounds like you are doing a good job. The more space they have the less this is a problem. Taking away the alpha hen / biggest bully for a few days (chicken jail) can be very effective.
