Other site linking coop builds...?

So my mom has been looking at coops to build and ran across a site with my coop on it, whowing plans for free... when you click the link it directs it streat to my article page here at BYC
I noticed ALOT! of coops(maybe even all, not sure on some) from this site and the links.
... im flattered, but at the same time it was not posted here for somone else to post it on their site...

I think everone should know, if they do not know already... if their coop is on this site.

I went and looked and recognize several coops on there from here.
Debby's is what inspired my big coop so I recognized that right off then Fireguys coop and many more.

I think you need to let BYC admins know about this. It's *possible* they either gave permission to them to use info, or there's some kind of content situation where, since it's a public site, if you post it then anyone can link to it. I mean, since it's linking to your actual coop build that you've posted it's not stealing and trying to pass it off as their own, and they're not charging for it, it's more of a collection of links of coops from many other sites. I do think the webpage should say that they don't own the designs and are not affiliated w/ any of the websites they link to.
Regardless, I think it's up to BYC to police this matter and decide if they feel it's an acceptable use of their content or if it is a violation. It may be something they're already aware of. If they are OK with it, I kind of feel like the site owners should have messaged the people before listing their info w/o permission, but again, they may feel that since it's posted on a public site it's fair game. Kinda like how people on tumblr will posts their stories and other websites will scour tumblr for interesting stories, compile them and post them on their own website and it's perfectly legal as long as they credit the original post.

I agree!! I found so many that i had done reviews on... and they even named mine after me

I agree, completely. I was going to send them a msg and got sidetracked right after this post .
I know its public information but its just crazy, and to take that many different builds you know...

I don't see an issue. They're not even copying your stuff onto their site, they're just linking to it. Honestly, I'd be flattered if a build of mine made it big enough to get on one of those types of reference blogs. Just my opinion.

Dont get me wrong i am flattered to be on the list.. and it brings more people to the site...

I dont know know but It just doesnt sit well with me for some reason.... but it is the way of the internet now a days... any information can be used/seen by anyone.

It's rather what you sign up for when placing your writing in a public location. <<shrugs>> Perhaps you could include a reserved copyright notification if you wished for that to stop happening with your articles?
