other than being adorable- ducks?

My ducks are fun- but boy they do like to poop and make a mess. It is pretty forgivable when they are so cute and squishee. As an added point- I get a good workout trying to catch the little buggers. I got mine when they were three weeks old and never hand held- so they tend to flee (screaming bloody murder, I might add) when we try to round them up after their daily swim. It's all fun.

Couldn't have said it any better. Depending on the breed you can get close to an egg a day. With our girls we get 7-8 eggs a day from 8 girls. Also with larger breeds, they don't fly away. None of ducks are the least bit mean, not even our drake. As a matter of fact I think he tries to warn the girls to stay away from us.
