Just put the ducks up and saw a otter in the 1/2 pond. I did see a dead fish the other morning and was wondering what happened. He/She doesn't seem afraid of us while watching him. We do have a 20 acre lake about 500 yards away from pond, I assume he wandered over. My question will an otter harm my ducks?

i don't know if it will harm your ducks. are otter sightings common where you live? if it starts hurting your ducks you might want to catch it and move it out of your pond. otters do have sharp teeth so be careful if you beside to do it. you may need to call animal control in order to help you out by catching it and taking it off your hands.

FYI, first otter in five years living in mid-Tennessee. I haven't tried to catch him, last night was the first time seeing him. He did go down our berm and looked like on his way to the neighbors.
