Our 25 lb Cornish X

Those are gorgeous Cornish X's!!

I have been considering rescueing some of these...(if you call it rescuing) and was curious on what to feed them and also where I could fine some. And any other things I should know. I wouldn't be getting them anytime soon since I still need to make space for them.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I just inherited a 4 month old hen. She's as big as my LF hens already. She follows me around the yard, clucks to you and is super sweet.

Coretta - We give him about 1/2 cup of feed three times a day (he doesn't even eat all of it). We also give him veges, fruit, yogurt, apple sauce, sunflower seeds, scratch, etch. We also put apple cider vinegar (with the mother) in his water. He free to roam all day and at night he goes in his house.

Sock Puppet - My hen was such a little sweetie and she followed me around, too. I miss her!!

i was sold 4 cornish rock last year.i didnt know what they were at first.they were the sweetest chickens ive ever had.broke my heart when they all died.

**note to self: Do NOT get any Cornish...no matter how sweet they may be, I just couldn't handle the heartbreak of such a short lifespan**

Such a darling "little" fella! I sure hope he hangs around for many years yet to come for ya Suensmitty! Sorry you lost your hen so young.
