We have had 3 of our 5 Dexter's calve this last week. Here are pictures of our sweet babies.

Miss Meg - She is such a naughty little thing. She was slow to start but she is making up for it double time. She is giving her mom grief. She runs all over the place and Spruce just runs behind her mooing. I can just imagine her thinking "just slow down, please stay by me, would you PLEASE quit running around and just hold still." LOL.

Bridger - He is very mellow, laying around a lot.

Cooper - Our cute little Black Calf that was born early this morning.

We have 2 more calves still due. One could deliver any day and the other isn't due until the end of May.

Actually Bridger, the little red Bull calf was born on Friday. It has been so cold here. Meg was born on Wednesday (4/1) at 10:41 pm, Bridger was born on Friday (4/3) around 3:30 pm and we woke up this morning to find Cooper had been born during the night. Our plan was to keep one of the bull calves and steer him and raise for the freezer, but now that they are here and they are so cute, I don't know if I can eat them. I told DH that we will sell them and use the money to buy beef for the freezer. LOL.

He is very small and cute and I cant wait to get to know him better. My dad and I got into the Dexters last year. I am an 18 year old boy so me and my dad love to work on the farm. We also raise chickens, ducks, geese, dogs and we raise and race Homing Pigeons. God I Love The Farm!!!![IMG]

When I see pictures of beautiful cattle, I am so sorry I wasted my life working for the government. Wish I could do it over again.
