Our Babies are here!

As those cute babies grow, they may need a cover or some chicken wire around the crib...from recent experience, it was less than two weeks, and we had escapees every time the lid came off the brooder!
Have fun with those new chicks!! It's exciting isn't it? I'm still fascinated watching them (even though they're a little past cute and fuzzy...more into tween and awkward, but still funny!!)

Thank you so much. I'm going to get some chicken wire. I believe they will still need the lights so wire would be best.

Congratulations on your new chicks! That's a nice big brooder. With the type of feeder and waterer you have, I think it might be helpful to raise them up a bit on a platform or maybe a couple bricks. The water will stay cleaner for longer and they won't be able to scratch quite as much food out.
Best wishes in your new adventure!
