The weather is finally warming up and our little ducks got their first experience roaming the yard! I'm seeing their feathers come in and (as a first time duck mama) I'm surprised by how some of them look. Mostly because we had a little yellow duckling which I assumed would be a pekin but is now all light brown on his chest... (pic #2) will this stay or go away? It's beautiful I really like it... Also we have what we thought was a cayuga but is now very upright and is still fluffy and not developing a lot of feathers. Could he be a runner?? He is in pic #2 and #6. Enjoy

Awww, cute! Yeah, I don't think that white one is going to be a pekin, either not only because of the brown spot, but the color of the bill, too. But, I can't tell you what it might be, though. We'll have to see later.
