Our Buff Orpington has lost her comb color almost white and is not laying ?

is there anything we can do to help her get her color back more red. Or do buffs get white when they are older. She is only a 2 or 2.5 years old.
She doesn't lay hardly any eggs.

When a hen stops laying for the season, the comb goes pale. It's normal. It's also normal for her to stop laying this time of year. Her comb will turn bright red again when she's ready to resume production, once spring is on the way.

Also, get out there at night with a flashlight, and look closely around their vents for mites, or lice, and treat if any bird has any. Blood sucking little monsters!!! Mary

You can get mites anytime of the year or just spring, fall and simmer. Frost doesn't kill them?
