Our coop... a work in progress...

We are slowly turning our old dog breeder/puppy area into our coop w/ a run & rooster area... We are planning on adding a small building inside the larger side for a rooster to have his own place, & then the hens will get their hen house w/ run & we are starting to build the nesting boxes & fixing to put up the roosts.

nice, we're moving soon and the place where we're moving has an old shed we're thinking of converting to a hen house. going to do the same thing you've done and attach a run to it. my husband is supposed to be building the frame to the run today while Im at work...we'll see how much of it he gets done in this 100+ degree heat!
