Our coop is almost done! (FINALLY!) This has been a HUGE project!

Thank you for all the compliments! We're proud of all the work! The coop is 8x12'.... for someone that asked. Only thing I came up with AFTER the fact is that I may have changed the pop door somehow so I could close it from the outside, then lock it on the inside (my chickens aren't very friendly...and now thinking they might go out when I come in to shut the door?)...but it's kinda too ate for that now! Hubby does want to put some sort of pulley on there......so that may take care of it!

I have total coop envy. I'm rehabilitating an old pig shed with scavenged lumber... Ugly has new meaning.

Some day I'd like a large new coop. Guess I'm waiting to see if I'm any good at chickens first...

Beautiful, you should be very happy with this. I only have to ask. Do you think the slope over the nesting boxes is enough to discourage roosting on top? I cannot really tell from your pictures. I love the Tiki gods.

What a fantastic coop - you've really outdone yourself. Those are some very lucky chickens. The Tiki guards are great - I love it. I hope they make any predator think twice before trying to invade your fantastic coop.
