Ok - here's my update - I've got 8 New Hampshire Reds and 4 BBS Orps with very strong embryos growing in them. I have 1 egg that I'm completely unsure of - looks like there's an embryo, but it just doesn't look right. 1 has a nice blood ring, and 2 are clear. So I've got 12 little ones that look good as of last night.
Kodiak, you could try putting your eggs in an egg carton to hold them still for hatching. Some people also make small circles out of pipe cleaners (one for each egg) and set the eggs in them on their sides.
I just realized earlier today that I need to reinstall my Easyshare software onto my computer so that I can put pics on here when my babies hatch. I've been without it for weeks now. . . . my gosh, I'd better get on that!
Oh, and by the way, it's all your fault! Every last one of you!!!! I've already candled twice, and I'm only on day 10! Shame, shame, shame!!!! I will not touch my eggs again until day 18. I will not touch my eggs again until day 18. I will not touch my eggs again until. . .
These next 8 days need to hurry up and go by
