wow and it's still not up? Are you sure your hygrometer is working correctly? Did you calibrate it at all?

They should be calibrated every year. Both digital and dial. Here is a good site on how to calibrate them.

They tend to lose accuracy after a year.

Sure sounds like your hygrometer isn't working correctly. Is there any condensation on the windows of your bator?

Hi all! Well, I did my last turn this morning and then added another plate of water with a sponge. I don't have a hygrometer (sp?) so I hope I'm hitting it close. So far the air cells have seemed right with each candling.

Cass - so sorry to hear about your accident! That's enough to make you swear off voting!

So no pips or peeps from anyone yet? I'm hoping I see something starting tomorrow, as Kathy's eggs have often hatched early, from what I've read, and my temp has been kept right at 100-101 (still air bator).

Please, please let this be a good hatch for everyone!

I have several rocking eggs and one is not pipped, but is peeping. I wonder how long they can survive off the air in the air cell itself. I think I might ask that as a new thread.

I think I've seen 6-7 of my eggs rocking, 1 in particularly is starting to rock quite violently. That thing wants out!
