Our Egg VS. Store-bought!

This is after being cracked and put in a cup in the fridge overnight. I still haven't been able to eat one of these, my son keeps gobbling them up!



One of our eggs scrambled with a little oil. It was delicious. My son actually let me have a nibble, LOL.

Yea, lol. My roos are super busy!

I need to stalk that little leghorn and see what she is eating. It wasn't always this orange but after her molting break she started laying these! Do you think all that fresh fish might be helping? She is still free-ranging like she always was. Can't imagine what green stuff she is getting into now, that she wasn't then, to get that color, LOL.

I dewormed them all a while back with neem oil, maybe that contributed. I am stumped, LOL.

We've been feeding our girls a lot of spinach and the egg yolks are deep orange too!

No, it isn't because it was fertilized. She is just eating some sort of good green food. We have a lot of wild mustards and chickweed, maybe she is gorging on those, LOL.

The first one I cracked opened I almost thought it was a bloody yolk!
