I candled all 3 brown eggs today before I put in the incubator. 2 I'm fairly sure I can see veins in, but 1 I'm not sure so I put it in anyway. It doesn't stink so...
I'm not worried I won't get chicks at all! I AM frustrated that I don't know what I'm seeing so all I can do is a sniff test and wait. That'll change over time I know. I'm taking pics though so I have them to refer back to.
I split her clutch just in case the heat gets to be too much. She needs to get the heck out of that nest.

I went out to the coop and found that baby almost frozen solid. I stole a line from Greys Anatomy cupped it in my hands, and put it to my mouth, I kept saying, you are not dead, until you are warm and dead! Got it in the house warmed it up and that little bugger was just fine! We named it Aurara like the frozen princess
