Oh yea, far more protective! I took a shell out to see what # eggs hatched and she about came unglued until I pulled some sleight of hand and showed her my hand was empty
I can hear her talking to them quietly.

You know, sometimes they will eat the entire shell after the chicks hatches....
....so don't count your chicks by empty shells.

unless you work from home then you might not get any work done at all!

I do work at home , which I love, but I'm holding out now until after work. Don't want to jostle things in there.
