Do you have any way of guessing the sex of the new babies?

Way too early to tell. Honestly she knows better than you what's going on in that egg. If she says it's done it probably is. She has to consider the 2 that have hatched already and their needs. It's survival of the fittest in her world.

No, other than by the time the get fully fathered if they are a boy the comb will be bigger than the girls, and the wattles will be a darker pink. You can see the wattle growth better on the NN ones, because there's not as many feathers hiding them.

I agree. In nature it's keep up or get left behind.
 
two out, two eggs left in nesting box while she shows them food and drink; will the other two eggs be OK, assuming they are on the point of hatching (all set together)?
