Our first chicken coop

We started building this coop about a month ago. We had a good idea of what we wanted so we started building what we consider a good sturdy coop with run. [IMG][IMG]

We started with a kit building, 10'x10'. Once it was put up and reinforces properly, we installed a 10'x20' chicken run.

We designed an outside laying box, which we had to make larger due to the large Buffs. We also installed 6 new windows.

We installed and sealed the new windows, installed linoleum, and painted the inside if the coop.

We finished the flooring and put a tin roof on the chicken run. We trimmed out the inside of the coop.

We saw a cool poop tray that we liked from this forum so we built one like it. We are due to go buy the Sweet PDZ tomorrow along with the litter for the coop.
